• USGA rules govern all play.
• Private Coolers Are Prohibited. Illinois law requires that all alcoholic beverages consumed on a licensed premise must be purchased from the permit holder (Howard St. Inn / Beverage Cart). All glass bottles are prohibited. Golfers are welcome to bring their own non-alcoholic refreshments provided they are in aluminum or plastic containers.
• Singles and Twosomes will be paired up at the discretion of the starter.  During peak hours players are sent off in groups of 3 or 4 to maintain tee time intervals.
• PACE OF PLAY: Play Ready Golf! We are proud to host players of all skill levels. To ensure groups keep moving we ask that all golfers limit themselves to 8 strokes to get to the green before picking up. We expect rounds to be completed in approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes or less. Rangers are out on the course to assist players and help make everyone’s experience as enjoyable as possible, please show them respect and kindly comply with their requests. Slower groups may be asked to pick up and move, or let faster moving golfers play through.
• All players are required to have their own set of clubs.
• Players renting and operating Gas Carts must be at least 16 years of age AND possess a valid drivers license. Only 2 riders are permitted per cart. Riders are expected to drive responsibly and observe daily restrictions regarding cart use.
• “Ball Hawking” is prohibited and all golfers are expected to keep away from river bank areas.
• Our facility is protected by the Thor-Guard Lightning Prediction and Warning System. When threatening conditions are present a single, 15-second alarm will sound. All players are expected to clear the golf course. Play may resume only after the ‘All-Clear’ signal sounds (3, 5-second blasts) AND the course has been deemed ‘Playable’ by staff.
• Golfers are requested to observe proper golf etiquette at all times. Divots and Ball Marks should be repaired. Pull carts and Bags should be kept in the rough, off of Tee Boxes and fringe areas surrounding Greens.
• Junior Golfers under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult, or have managerial approval to play unsupervised.
• Unpaid spectators are not allowed on the golf course.
• A golfer is responsible for injury or damage that results from the golfer’s actions on the course. Niles Park District does not provide insurance for golfers and accepts no responsibility for any damages to persons, vehicles, or homes that a golfer may cause while playing golf or otherwise using these facilities.
• Failure to comply with the above policies, or other staff instructions, can result in expulsion from the golf course and forfeiture of paid fees.
